Class tours
Students of all ages can join us for a tour to learn about community-based, field-to-table gardening, and get their hands dirty with a beginner friendly experiential learning activity.
What to expect?
A visit can last anywhere from 1-3 hours. We typically begin with a tour of the garden, an introduction to the work we do and how we engage with our community partners. We can gear our age-appropriate conversation to various areas of focus: ecological agriculture, food sovereignty, community food access, etc.
Depending on the time of year, we can then engage students in some light field work. This might include planting, weeding, harvesting and more.
